Becoming a success is more like playing a squid game
Just imagine two persons, the first one works hard, he completes college education with good grades and gets a good job in a top company with hefty pay. He worked really hard in the company, and even though he got the promotion and his bank balance grew, he became more exhausted mentally, physically, and emotionally. He has to spend a lot of time at work. His salary provides him with a wonderful decent life but not enough to make him rich.
On the other hand, the second person was bright, but he never worked hard. He enjoyed his life most. He studied markets well, and when he saw opportunities in cryptocurrencies, he bought some bitcoins with significantly less money. Then he enjoyed his life every day. He does the nasty thing, drinks, parties, and gets up late, but he made good investments. Some due to chance and partially his research. Now his investment grows, and he has become a multimillionaire.
Most people are like the first person who lives his life as per the advice of school, family, and society, but the ultimate winner is the second guy. When we see their stories, we feel that it was injustices because the first-person works really hard, but the second person gets all rewards, but this is how the world works. Making money or becoming a success is not simply working hard or smart. In my life, I worked in a public office for six days a week, from ten to five, and got a good salary. But one of my neighbors, a real estate investor, makes just one or two suitable investments in real estate per year and makes ten times more money than me. He has a lot of time to spend with family and friends, has time for his hobbies and travels, and he is more respected and accepted within family and society than me, and I wonder what wrong I have done.
In the Netflix series squid game, the winner is not the one who is the strongest nor the one with the most intelligence, skilled, or work hard. The winner is the person who adapts himself to each challenge, who has luck, seizes opportunities, uses intelligence when it needs, physical strength in the area where it is required, uses shortcuts, betrayal, or cheating in other places when it demands. In my opinion, the world works more like a squid game.
